Dülmener looking for a home on the North or Baltic Sea - Piccolo is looking for his new owner(s) near the North or Baltic Sea.
First of all: This is not a distress sale! There is no point in dealers and riding schools contacting us. Please only contact us if you are seriously interested!
Piccolo is a 1.44m Dülmener gelding, born 05/2006.
He is the perfect buddy for leisure riders: always reliable, motivated at work, hard-working and simply a cool sock. Piccolo likes to go out in the field. He is very reliable both on his own and with other horses. He has been ridden up to A level in dressage and always tries to please his rider. He is motivated to take part in pole work, but jumping beyond cavaletti height is not his strong point. He is great on the lunge line (cavesson without a bit) and is very good at ground work. He was always decent at the farrier, the vet and when being loaded.
He stands / stood in gelding groups where he is completely compatible (even with mares in the neighboring meadow). In a mixed herd, however, he becomes stubborn.
Unfortunately, Piccolo developed equine asthma in his old home in Bavaria (diagnosed in fall 2021). He has therefore been at a rehabilitation center on the North Sea since April 2023. He has recovered very well there and has not needed any medication since June 2023. I would therefore like him to find a permanent home with loving people in the good sea air. The new owners should be aware that this great guy has a medical history. He needs dust-free bedding, haylage feed and lots of fresh air.
His high-quality accessories (Bucas rugs, bridle, gaiters etc.) are also available. The price is subject to negotiation.
