Beautiful Aztec gelding with a lot of charisma - Due to personal circumstances and the resulting lack of time of the owner, this great horse is looking for a 5-star home. Bombon (nickname Athos) was born in 5.2020 and has a current height of 145 cm. Athos is still in full development and is currently not a weight carrier. Small AKU from July 2023 without findings (passed very well) is available, teeth were checked in July 2023. The gelding is an Aztec (Quarter Horse - PRE): he has the composure of the Quarter, the charisma of the PRE, the agility and quick reaction of both breeds. He is courageous, curious and clever: whether it's an umbrella, tarpaulin and rustling bag on the trail or a kindergarten group, construction fences and forestry machines in the field - Athos stays cool. Has a solid basic education with lead training, ground work, lunging etc. Trained in the 3 basic gaits; is currently ridden 1-2 times a week. Has soft, comfortable gaits and responds well to weight aids. He is already well balanced at the trot for his age. Canter is currently not being pursued any further. He has mastered his first sessions on the double lunge as a matter of course. Goes off-road on his own without any problems. The gelding is familiar with a western saddle and bosal as well as an eventing saddle and water snaffle. Athos is a very playful horse. He is fearless, self-confident and intelligent and wants to be kept busy, not only physically but also mentally. He needs a person with young horse experience, preferably also experienced in handling young stallions/geldings; a person who has time for him, spends a lot of time with him and makes it clear to him in a friendly manner, with clear body language, where the human's area is and where the horse's area is. Due to his intelligence, self-confidence and quick reaction, he is not a horse for beginners, inexperienced people, anxious riders or children, nor for people with little time. His future could well be in working equitation, ranch riding, possibly also cattle work, trail riding, trail rides and (extreme/skill/speed) trail or also in baroque riding and show performances.
