Welsh-Cob gelding - Reliable leisure partner - Name: Jim Beam Breed: Welsh-Cob, Section D Gender: gelding Size: 1,48 m Color: Chestnut (dark chestnut) Age: 16 years (born 2008)
Jim Beam is a charming leisure pony who inspires everyone with his positive charisma and eagerness to learn. He loves to try out new things, whether it's riding, small jumps or circus lessons. In training he is attentive and enthusiastic - he is therefore looking for someone who also enjoys his work and can encourage him in a stress-free environment. Jim Beam is a 150% pony and is looking for leading hands to give him security.
Special features One-eyed: Jim is blind in one eye, but this does not restrict him in everyday life.
Biting: He has a tendency to dock in stressful situations and after feeding, but this can be significantly reduced by keeping him calm and stable. His chin tucking does not cause any damage to teeth or stable equipment.
Laminitis: One episode of laminitis in spring 2023, which was caused by uncontrolled grazing. Jim is now grazing again without any problems, but controlled grazing and weight control are important. X-rays available
Jim Beam knows open stable and box stabling.
What we are looking for: I am looking for a permanent home for Jim Beam where he can spend his life. A place that offers him security, quiet company and enough exercise. Jimsy is not "just" a leisure horse, but a partner for someone who has a deep understanding of horses and can give him a stress-free life.
If you are looking for a loyal, motivated leisure partner who will bring you joy every day and is close to your heart, please contact me.
Not suitable as a school horse, Jim Beam is an oneman horse
