Super dear Holsteiner seeks best place - It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to find a new home for my 15-year-old gelding Carento. Unfortunately, I can no longer do him justice in terms of time and he deserves to have someone who will take full care of him.
I have owned Carento for six years. He has competed with me in show jumping competitions as well as a dressage competition. However, due to a restriction, he should no longer compete in high level show jumping. Apart from jumping, he can be ridden normally.
In all these years, Carento has never bucked or mounted. He is absolutely fearless and can be ridden well both alone and in a group - whether at a walk, trot or canter. He is pleasant and sensitive in dressage. He has also been ridden by beginners and has shown himself to be absolutely relaxed.
He is a real treasure who always gives his best and you simply have to love him.
