Shire Horse gelding - Due to a lack of time, I have decided with a heavy heart to look for a new home for my 6-year-old Shire gelding Albi. Albi is an absolute family horse who has been horsemanship trained from foal onwards. He is worked very finely and has been trained in an exemplary manner and behaves in the same way.
About Albi - Age: 6 years - Size: approx. 1.84 m - Training: - Under saddle since 2024 (western and dressage snaffle) - Safely ridden cross-country - Regular indoor training since the middle of last year (still room for improvement) - Potential as a carriage horse - Character: - Eager to learn, motivated and hard-working - Dominant, but social in the herd - Very child-friendly (my children aged 7 and 9 work with him without any problems)
Health and care - Albi has never been ill and is regularly groomed. - Legs and coat in perfect condition. - Slight thrush on one hoof, which is currently being treated. - Joints are healthy and I always make sure that he is not overloaded.
My wish for Albi
I would like Albi to find a loving home with an experienced rider who has the time and pleasure to continue his training. Despite his size and strength, his new owner should also be physically suited to him, as horse-friendly handling is particularly important to me.
Albi is a loyal companion with a lot of potential, whether in the arena, in the field or possibly in front of a carriage. He is looking for a home where he can continue to be cared for and encouraged.
