Search for care sharing - Hey, I am looking for support for my 13 year old mare due to illness. She is very sensitive and dominant, which is why she causes a lot of unrest in the herd when unused, so I'm looking for someone who has experience with horses and is consistent but sensitive in handling. I would like to start riding her again at some point, but her condition definitely needs to improve and her muscles need to be built up... that could take time, but theoretically there would be the option of riding her in a few years' time. But with a big maybe, because everything has to be right! Money is a minor matter for now, as I'm primarily looking for support, but I'd be happy if carrots etc. were brought along.
