Ring martingale for learning to ride with light rein aids. It is a fixed ring martingale that has been manufactured to a very high standard. It is the only alternative to the loop reins and any other type of auxiliary reins. You can give in again very quickly after accepting the reins without any "pressure". The horses learn very quickly to react to light, soft aids even when lunging and to stretch forwards and downwards (depending on how they are buckled) or it just gives the rider the necessary security (with young horses). In the case of beginners, the hands that are still moving with the horse (restless hands) are broken by the rings of the martingale so that no unpleasant "jerks" or knocks come to the sensitive horse's mouth.
