- Our combing aid makes it easier to comb out itchy dandruff, hair lice and nits. The tine spacing has been selected to effectively comb out hair lice infestations on dogs and other animals. Hair lice and nits are larger than the distance between the teeth. This means that our combing aid can be used to comb the parasites out of the fine fur, even in the case of hair lice infestations in cats. The combing aid can also be used for other ectoparasites such as fleas and mites.
The combing aid helps to remove dander from the coat, especially in densely furred areas that are difficult to comb with a brush or curry comb. Even with long, thick coats, the combing aid gets close to the skin so that dandruff and parasites can be thoroughly removed. As both dandruff and parasites cause itching, using the combing aid provides the animal with relief.
