With a heavy heart I unfortunately have to sell my great black Schleese Pirate from 2018 in excellent condition.
I used the saddle on a short, strong Hanoverian. According to Schleese, it has an independent ½ panel with shoulder freedom and an integrated 5-point girth system. For the rider, the saddle has a narrow seat waist, a medium to shallow seat depth and the center of gravity is in the middle. Velcro straps allow individual adjustment to the rider. I have always felt very comfortable in the saddle; it really is super comfortable.
Schleese describes the model as follows: "The SCHLEESE "all-rounder". Thanks to the particularly short panels with the typical SCHLEESE shoulder back cut, the PIRAT is suitable for a wide variety of short horse types. The tree angle and width of the PIRAT can be fully adjusted on site and can therefore always be modified to perfectly suit you and your horse."
