Barefoot® Physio saddle pad system Paddable saddle pad also for difficult saddle positions. Available in various shapes and colors especially for all Barefoot® saddle models. Developed for special requirements on long rides, very round horses on whose back saddles tend to slip or horses with highly visible spinous processes.
It is ergonomically cut and its 2-component construction ensures excellent pressure absorption and distribution combined with the greatest possible freedom of the spine The upper part is a dimensionally stable pad made of cotton quilting with a felt underside, fleece padding on the inside and Sympanova padding on top (keeps the saddle in place on the pad and also absorbs pressure, allowing air to pass through)
The cotton quilted lower part is anatomically cut and has a leg cut-out for close leg contact with the horse. It is equipped with inserts for easy removal of the pressure-absorbing and spinal canal-forming inserts.
Two-thirds of the underside is made of non-slip, air-permeable Sympanova material and ensures a firm saddle/horse connection, even with very round horses. The rear part of the underside is made of sheepskin. The movement and associated friction of the saddle at the back of the horse's back is diverted into the fur.
To attach the pad to the saddle, thread the Velcro strips through the front and back under the front and rear pommel and press them firmly onto the Velcro surface.
