Shire Horse gelding with "Go" Albert - Those interested in a visual eye-catcher with a lot of power pay attention!
Shire Horse gelding Albert is 7 years old and currently has a height of 1,73 m. He has full papers from the English Shire Horse Society.
Albert has been ridden at all 3 gaits and also goes off-road on his own. He is also familiar with the walker.
He is very easy to handle and extremely people-oriented. However, in the beginning he likes to test if his human is serious, so he will not be given to beginners.
For a Shire, Albert has a proper "go" and therefore does not want to be "put in the corner" but kept busy. He also enjoys it when he is allowed to really let off steam in the paddock in the form of extensive jumps of joy.
Albert is very teachable and with the right partner at his side he could certainly be trained a lot more. He also enjoys long stroking sessions, so we would like a new home for Albert with plenty of time for him.
He is very good with forging and loading and is well behaved at the vet. Driving a trailer alone is no problem for Albert.
Of course he has all the necessary vaccinations and is dewormed regularly. His teeth are checked 1x per year, the last check took place in December.
Currently Albert runs barefoot and gets along with it so far without any problems.
