I offer here this top class western saddle, which is hardly available in Europe, because it is only available via the USA with horrendous customs and transport costs.

In addition, there is the so-called Smartpad, which has pockets in which foam rubber or felt wedges can be inserted to optimally adjust the saddle to the horse's back and fill all hollow areas underneath. In the Smartpad itself, there is a layer of memory foam from space travel, about 2.5 cm thick, which provides optimal pressure distribution over the entire horse's back.

I bought the saddle new in spring 2013 and it has been ridden very little. It is suitable for work in the arena as well as for longer cross-country rides due to its construction.

The saddle is very comfortable, it also has removable bucking rolls which protect you from falling in dicey situations, it also has pretty gold hardware and 6 Latigo strings for attaching luggage or a raincoat when trail riding, it is also equipped with a back chinch which prevents tipping forward in load situations.

As it has been ridden very little, it is still in very good to like new condition.
The gullet width is extra wide and he was on an old style Shire Horse, so square, wide with lots of withers.
The horse has a height of 176 cm and weighs 750 kg.

The seat has 16.5 inches (44.5 cm measured from horn to cantle) and is also suitable for large butts for (pants sizes to men 54 / women 46/48).

The fenders are size M.

The short wide back cinch is 1.30 m the narrower is 1.38 m long.

The saddle has of course a few age and use-related signs of wear, see photos. The smartpad is unfortunately a little worn through, but still works. The original wooden stirrups have been replaced with leather coated metal stirrups from Rieser.
