The Merothic noseband (also called "MR") is a bitless bridle. The reins are attached on one or both sides, creating a mechanical effect and thus a half to full round closure. In contrast to other bridles, there is no risk of injury in the area of application of the halter. It can be combined with any conventional bridle and can be used for any type of riding and riding style.
The noseband is thickly padded with a movable metal bar in between. This allows the pressure on it to be well regulated without damaging the bridge of the nose.
