Sometimes you have to let go with a heavy heart in order to give the best to the one you love. Our beautiful gelding, approx. 183 cm, sensitive, is now looking for a forever 5-star home where he can simply be who he is.
❤️ About him - German sport horse gelding, born 2013 - Sire: Bretton Woods - He needs an experienced hand to handle, trust and time - Knows saddle, snaffle and lunge work - Is currently ridden, (only in the with an experienced accompanying mare) but clearly shows his limits when overtaxed - Needs routine, trust and structure - Currently stands in a mixed herd, prefers small, stable groups - Needs hay 24/7
He has eczema, but we have had this well under control in recent years with adapted feeding. He learns quickly and, as a typical sport horse, has a lot of energy. He is very environment-oriented when out riding.
He's never been seriously ill or lame since I've owned him. Physio/Osteo was there in October. Dewormed.
He wants to be worked, and with enough confidence and routine he could even be fun as a vaulting horse.
What we want for him: A home where he is appreciated, encouraged and worked in a structured manner. Experienced, horse-friendly hands are absolutely essential. Open stable (small, stable groups preferred) possibly box at night
⚠️ IMPORTANT: NO TESTING - getting to know him on the ground is possible He will not be given away - we are looking for an appreciative, loving home where he can just be himself and where you can work everything out with him. TOGETHER.
I can't say whether he will go on the hanger, we have never needed it, but I could imagine that it would be a bit of a drama.
